OK - With that 4 added the ride is FULL.

If you have done a few AMTRA rides and know you are a solid Level 2 to Clubman and want to come along then give me a call.

The ride is a level 1 but there are some level 2 options I can put in.

Ron - should be able to get you back to the cars at a time to suit. Will be aiming for about 4:30 to 5:00 i.e. before dark. We may be able to shoot out for another little loop after that for those that want to.

Regards

Well it seems I have a morning free, so I am going to get to Cobaw at around 9:00, to head off riding about 9:30 and back to the car park about 12:00. Anyone who would like to join me is welcome, the ride will be more Level 2 and above for the morning. I'll stop in at the BP around 8:00 a.m.

To get to Cobaw - Travel up the Calder Hwy. About 40 km after Calder Park BP take exit for C324 turning right toward Lancefield. About 3.5 km's turn left at the sign for Hanging Rock, the continue straight on through Newham.

At 3.5 km's past Newham you will reach a cross road, caution it is just over a crest and down hill to the cross road so take it easy there. Cross over, continuing straight ahead on Egans Lane. At the end of Egans Lane turn right along Forest Rd and follow this to Cobaw Forest (about 2.5 km).

At the entrance to Cobaw Forest go along Ridge Rd (uphill) and about 1.5 km along you will reach a large carpark on the left - opposite Devanney Track.

For those still meeting at the BP at 11:30 - introduce yourselves and travel up together.

Seeya there.

Hi Matt,

Steve Wiseman and I won't be able to come along so you can take us off the list, shame as would have been my first Cobaw ride.  Hopefully next time.  Have a good ride, DanJ
