Been a while since I did one of these but have a day free. Will have done the first aid course by then so could be looking for opportunities to use new skills. Grin

Will be a full day ride this time. AM will be aimed at Level 2 while the afternoon will be aimed at Level 1. Two loops of less than 70 km each, afternoon will more likely be around 40 km.

Rec Reg OK.

BBQ's and lunch are BYO, will be at the carpark in between loops at around 12:30.

Ride start is at 9:00 a.m, but I am fairly relaxed.

Afternoon ride will start around 1:30 p.m. and go to about 5 p.m. There can be several opportunities to point you back to the cars if you need to leave earlier.

Meet at Ridge Rd/Devanney Rd Car Park at 8:30 a.m. or at Calder Outbound BP, Calder Hwy, Calder Park (just past the Calder Park Racetrack) at 7:30 a.m if you want to follow me out.

Limit of 20 riders in the morning, will take more in the afternoon but may split then into two groups with the aim of meeting up at various points around the Cobaws.

If you are a L2 and come along with the L1 afternoon group you are expected to be patient, and help out your fellow riders.

Terrain is sandy and rocky, usally quite dry.

Rides are social and there are frequent stops, this is not a clubman try out.

Marls and Dave will be pointed at the hill and sent off.

Hi Charlie,
Is that the Charlie with the KTM that Fred & I did our first AMTRA ride with at the beginning of last year at Cobaw? If yes, will be good to see you again. Look what happend to my DRZ after that ride, I can't remember much of that day  Huh My riding style hasn't changed much since then either  Grin
