Title: AMTRA Noojee L1/L2 Post by: Brad on July 03, 2011, 03,35:06 AM Noojee-Fumina-Neerim South L1/L2 Tri-area ride
Riding on some great tracks in Noojee, Fumina and Neerim South. Meet at 8.30am for 9am on the bikes the tracks will be a mix of flow, ups and downs. Fuel for 100K's minimum NO fuel is available in the ride area. Lunch will be on the trails, Rec Reg welcome. As this is a level 1 to 2 ride please respect your fellow riders, remembering we all have to start and learn somewhere. Take care if overtaking and if you are taking it easy try to keep a left line to allow for people to pass. Whatever you do ride at your own pace this is not a race just a good day out with some mates who all want the fun and to get home safe. P.S. The bike in front always has right of way. Start location is the T junction of Mt Baw Baw Tourist Rd and Vesper Rd. Please Note a couple of things the Vesper Rd I am referring to is a RHT at the top of the hill on the C426 MT Baw Baw Tourist Rd as you head from Noojee to Mt Baw Baw. There is NO sign post it is best identified as a RED clay cutting entrance. If you go to far down the Mt Baw Baw road you will hit the next T junction of the C465 Fumina Rd on RHS so turn around go back up the hill and take the first Road on the LHS being Vesper Rd. Note some locals and maps also call this section of Vesper Rd, Ferguson Rd. Im stuck down in tassie until i finish a job so i can afford the boat trip home, also i have broken my bike a bit doing some riding down here.. i sunk it, broke a barkbuster, snapped the chain, headlights smashed and tested the xr600 amphibiously which didnt go well. had a 2km push to get her back to the car :(

It's just my luck - although I love all the nice weather we have had I normally have stuffed tyres and cop bad conditions - I have brand new rubber front and rear ATM ( rear only done a 100km )and it's gonna be spankin weather even if you have 50% tread.

Nice to see some old mates and meet some new ones. Noojee really is a great ride area thanks for putting it together.
