Title: Re: AMTRA Hackers Cup Golf Day Pakenham Golf Club 3/10/10 Post by: Willbar on July 31, 2010, 05,16:39 AM We will also need a non playing member to come along and help with tee offs and work out the scoring and the winners and loosers so if you are up for a free lunch and some social fun can you please volunteer to come along to do this most important task for us. If you like to read you should get 3 hrs to yourself to do some reading between the last tee off at 8.30 and the first group back with there score cards around 12 lunch time. Will
Also if we have enough juniors we can run a junior comp as well saves the seniors getting beat by the juniors. Pommy Mat and Frankie and Steve and James in the other. We set of the back nine and considering Hame and I had not played since January the first and second holes were great. Jimmy always plays well when we play together so there were no surprise's there, Brother in law Mark well anything can happen with him but he was in good form today. Hame and I had a blow out on the 4th hole and again on the 8th and then got back to some form for the rst of the game.
looking at the other groups score cards they got there moneys worth with plenty of shots. We met in the 19th hole for some cool refreshment's and we had Bacon and Egg rolls and chips for lunch and ended up with $10 change each from our $40. All in all we had a great social day with as usual lots of laughs. Pommy Mat Scored the AMTRA club hackers cup for the highest score with 168 followed by James on 140 then Frankie with 138, then Hamish on 127 and Steve on 117, then myself on 109 and mark on 98 and Jimmy the winner of the cup for the lowest score with a 93 . |
