Accom is about $25 per person and 5 meals are supplied for a fee estimate5 at $25 to $30 per person. BYO beverages.

Location of Charnwood 2.5hrs from Melbourne in the Strathbogies is deliberate as it offers good accommodation and the tracks are gold.
There is a limit to 15 riders and families are most welcome up to you.

Weekend Format:
Arrive Friday night and chat by the fire BYO drinks.
Stay at Charnwood-Lima for 2 nights
Friday night get your own meal.

Saturday L2 ride 120 up to 180K's
Breakfast provided part of food fee

Lunch out on the trails provided part of food fee Ham and salad rolls, drinks
BBQ Dinner provided by Charnwood provided part of food fee
Chill out drinks BYO by the fire

Sunday L2 ride 100K ish
Breakfast provided part of food fee
Pack up
Morning ride/drive 9-1
Should be able to grab a quick shower at Charnwood with a prior request.
Off home

Attached are the location maps, site plan and accommodation layout/bed plans.

As mentioned I will co-ordinate the event bookings and food however each person needs to arrange all other aspects themselves

Considering changing tyres and I was wondering what sort of terrain is up that way - is it rocky or mostly dirt?

Mostly dirt, not much rocky.  Unless it rains lots in the week before tyres should not be an issue.

Hi Matt,you could have 3 x freeloaders turn up on Sunday.Will confirm in about a week!

From what Brad had planned it was 5 meals from Sat morning, with Friday fend for yourself.

All up looks around $50 to $55 for the weekend.

I will chat with Brad this weekend and speak to Charnwood.

Just spoke to John at Charnwood. We are still all booked in, which is a good start.

Meals will be BLD on Sat and BL on Sunday, for a cost of $40. On Friday it is get your own meals on the way.

Accomodation is $25 per night, and I expect all to be planning on staying Friday and Saturday.

That is a total of $90 for the weekend, plus BYO drinks.

Payment on arrival there.

Now the ride limit was set at 15, but they can accomodate a few more so I will take up to 20.

That gives 6 places left.

Day trippers are o.k. But will limit it to max of 5 per day.

I have one tentative day tripper on Sat and 3 possible on Sunday.

Now I have ridden the area before, but some time ago. I am leading using a map and BS. Anyone expecting a well rehearsed, pre-ridden loop will be very much mistaken. However I am going to be following a loop set up by Brad that he intended to take you all around.

What could possibly go wrong?

I'm guessing the loops will be from the HCR held at Charnwood. Maps and route sheets should be available, think I gave some to Brad. Are you planning to ride  Saturday and Sunday. Any idea of kms for fuel to bring.

Might be an idea to remind John we need a BBQ out back of the house plus crockery, cutlery, pots and fry pans, he forgot last time.

OOPS - Just read the first post again which gives the kms, if the same - all OK.
