Glenlyon/Daylesford Ride
This ride will be held in the top of Wombat state forest , where the boys at Bolton Motorcycles like to cut in heeeeaaaaps of single trail. This ride will also cover open trail and some hill climbs. (Not to hard)
If your looking for a good ride not a hard ride this is the place to go.
Meet at glenlyon show grounds at 8.30am and on the bikes at 9.00am .Bring fuel & food ( this might change) and we will be doing two loops.Minimum entry level: You have to have done a couple of Marysville rides, and are capable of riding at a steady pace, also ride single trail with ease without assistance.(Meaning someone else riding your bike cos you are not capable)

Attention All,lunch and fuel (for 140 klm's) at the cars
2 x 70 klm's loops for the day weather dependent

Takes around 1.5 hrs from the City.
Melways ref: 627 D2

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - throttle in the other - body thoroughly used up,totally worn out and screeming what a ride

G'day John,
Just a question about the fuel range.  Is it 140k's total, with a stop at the cars in the middle?

Cheers, Chris.  Huh Huh

Hey Chris

140km total. Refuel if you need it and lunch back at the cars, them some more cool narrow 4x4 tracks after lunch.

Are you coming? Al Mason & I will be there.

Cheers

Hey peter if you stay on the couch any longer you will have to fit twin shocks to your bike

Hi John I might be keen, just trying to figure out where the Glenlyon Showgrounds are tho?  Are they here?  http://maps.google.com.au/maps?sourceid=navclient&rlz=1T4GGLJ_enAU303AU303&q=wombat%20state%20forest&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wl

Is there a street name you could refer me too so I can punch it into the Satnav?

Cheers,

mikey
