Ok this is the second one for the year so dust of them old bikes and lube the chain and get it out and lets get them dirty and have a few laughs along the way. Since it is a new year we should have some new qualifiers for this catergory but still kick start only.
Level 2 ride Neerim South.
Ok in an effort to get a few more bikes there we have lessoned the age slightly but still no button starts, kick or push only.
Ok this is the rules for attendance 2 the AMTRA Old Banger Duro, Ok one catch you must attend on a registered bike either full or rec reg that is at least 12 years old or older and no electric starters kick or push only ? Not quite Vinduro but AMTRA Old Banger Duro, could be tiring but a good laugh and hopefully not on me. it should be an easy level 2 ride with a good lunch at the pub with plenty of bench racing.
It will be a morning ride with lunch at the pub after.
If you  have a bike of 12 years of age or older then dust her off and give her a service and come and join us for a morning of memories of why we upgrade our bikes.
This is a very social ride, with plenty of stops, and Lunch at the Neerim Sth Pub after the ride.
If you have not thrown a leg over your old bike for a while stop making excuses and put your name down and come a long for lots of laughs and bull dust stories and remember why you are in such a great club.
If you want 2 attend this ride I need to know sooner than later so I can book our spot at the Pub.

Ok for the ride, this is not a beginners ride but if you have done a few level 1 level 2 AMTRA rides with out to much problems and with good pace you should be fine on this one. We meet at the DSE Latrobe River Rd Trail Bike unloading Saturday the 7th of May 7.30.am for a 8.00am start onto the trails and back 2 the cars for 12.30 and into the Pub for 1pm. Rec Reg welcome. Full tank of fuel. Plenty of fluid for hydraition. Nothing too hard a nice cruisy ride with a few small steep ups and downs but mainly open trails and maybe a couple of goat tracks thrown in depending on who comes along.

We should be all packed up, and sitting down in the Neerim Sth Pub ,for some serious bench racing by 1pm lunch.
If your coming and need directions contact Will 0414354317 for a meeting spot along the way.

Hi Will

I've got my old 1993 Yamaha WR250ZE parked in the garage still, and if I can tidy it up enough I will gladly join the ride. And yes for the pub lunch too please.

Thanks

Hi Will

As I haven't been to the DSE Latrobe River Rd trail bike area before, I just wanted to check that it is easy to find once you start heading down the Neerim East Rd.

I've downloaded the DSE map, but it doesn't seem to match up with the road names on Google Maps too well, so I'm hoping that it is properly signposted!

Is there anything tricky to watch out for in finding the place?

There is a blue sign with a trailbike being unloaded directing you to turn right, then follow the bitumen to the dirt and follow to T intersection were you turn left and follow for around 2 to 3 klm and unloading area will be on your right at top of hill. Hope this helps. Will
