Title: First Aid Course Post by: Mat R on January 10, 2013, 05,23:36 AM Saturday March 23.
This is a Level 2 accredited course for AMTRA members only. Some pre-study to supplied material may be required. If you hold a Level 2 certificate then pre study may not be required and you will be able to re-validate your certificate. The top 10 clubman from 2011 and 2012 will qualify for the course free. For other members it will be $120. If the two groups of 'Top 10' do not fill the first 15 places they will be filled alternating from 2011 and 2012 order in clubman points. Maximum 25 places. Course is 7 hours duration and will be held in Blackburn. A light lunch with soft drinks/water will be provided by the club. Please express interest by reply post. Mat R. All packs are sent out to present attendees. If you have not done a L2 before you MUST complete the self study question book. If you have done a L2 before it is highly recommended. Some that have not done an L2 before would have got a refresh pack - SAME CD, SAME questions, just a white instruction sheet instead of a yellow one that does not state questions must be answered BEFORE the course is done. Call me interested - hurry as there is pre study to do and will need to get your pack before the course. If I send it Thursday you will get it Friday and have one night to fill it in. If you have done any first aid it is fairly straight forward. A valuable course to do. The trainer Annemarie was great & presented the course in a way that was both fun, educational & easy to understand. We've both learnt new skills, that will confidently assist us both on the trails & for life in general. Very worthwhile doing.... Did it take them that long to present the cheque that we paid them with? Misread the invoice and did not pay the GST component on the facility hire.
