Basic ride with a few challenges. This ride compliments the the Cobaw ride in the west and the Marysville ride north east, catering for a similar starting level.

Meet at the DSE Latrobe River Rd Trail Bike area 8.30am for 9am start onto the trails. BYO lunch on the trails, Rec Reg welcome. Trail conditions are Loam-70%, Rock-15% Sand-10% and Clay 5%, can be dusty if dry.
Pls spend the time to prep your bike for a faultless ride.
Ensure you have enough fuel for at least 100Km.

Hi,
I have changed the start/end location for this ride to the trail bike park on the Latrobe River Rd.

The original location on Gunn’s Rd is no longer suitable and I suggest that all riders stop using it to keep everyone happy.

Directions:

Take the M1 towards Drouin,(unless you come in the back way)exit left at the Robin Hood Hotel and navigate your way onto the C426 and go to Neerim South.

At the roundabout TR and take the Neerim East road until you reach the junction with the Latrobe River Rd.

Continue along the Latrobe River road following the new BLUE Vic Roads signs to the trial bike parking area.

Note: If it’s hot or a day of total fire ban then I will put a post on the AMTRA Calendar and General chat that the ride is off. www.vinamtra.com.au

Brad,
please consider cancelling this ride due to the fires. I am sure people in the areas would prefer no extra people around until things settle down.
