Title: Will's High Country Mystery Tour 6/8/11 Post by: Willbar on May 16, 2011, 04,05:14 AM Ok who's up for a high country mystery ride. The reason it is a mystery ride, is because I dont know where we are going yet, accept for that it will be a High country ride and may be a 1 day or maybe a 2 day ride with an overnight stay in a pub somewhere.
I will list it as a clubman ride but if you have done a AMTRA few Level 2 rides you should be able to step up, as you will get help if required. The aim will be to do anywhere from 200 to 300 klm in total depending if it is 1 or 2 days. Terain will be typical vic high country and we should be taking off in the southern part, somewhere around Licola or Rawson. As with all my rides you will need to pack your smile and sense of humour. If we do an overnighter then you will also need to carry your overnight gear on your back or bike and may need some spare fuel if you do not have a large tank. Of coarse you will need a reliable bike and a basic set of tools and Ultra heavey duty tubes fitted to your bike. We will start the list and I will start working out where we are going to go, but it will be kept top secret until later. I can't make it!!!....Sorry Will I was really looking forward to this one...catch up with you on the HTFU3 take 2 next week.
