After a good turnout for the Training ride last November, i'm going to do it again. So come along and be trained by someone who has no idea about riding, bike setup, clutch control, Mono's and general stuff.
Starting from 15 Mile Rd at 9.30am sharp, this ride will go wherever the road goes and will return to the cars for lunch. ($5.00 lunch Donation)All proceeds will go into my pocket, to cover the cost of my new mobile BBQ. We will cover around 80-90 klms before lunch, and 40 klms after Lunch. No one will be allowed to leave the ride at lunch, and if you try you will be SHOT on the spot.

BBQ cost me $90.00, if you would like to see your donation at work, roll up and turn the Snags for me.
Tea & Coffee will be provided, but you will need to bring your own Thermal Mug!!

WE WILL MEET AT 15 MILE ROAD ON EILDON JAMIESON ROAD WHICH IS 20KLM'S EXACTLY DOWN EILDON JAMIESON RD . THIS WILL ADD ANOTHER 20-25 MIN DRIVE DOWN EILDON JAMIESON ROAD, AND I WILL PUT AN AMTRA SIGN AT THE PARKING AREA.(PARKING AREA ON RIGHT) So 45 min from buxton approx.     2 Hrs from Ringwood

Hi Ron, i see your new to the AMTRA site, if you would like to ring me, i will fill you in with the details of the ride, and also help you with your Membership. Usually first time riders go on a Level 1 Ride, to see if there up to a Level 2 Ride.

It's alright to be cold when you're in the snow, that's what it's there for!

Good to see you found the site & Pete's ride  :D It's going to be great riding with you guys again & I'm sure you'll love riding around this area. The most direct way to get there is head through the Black Spur towards Eildon ie via Buxton, Taggerty, Thornton. The Eildon-Jamieson Road is is about 3km's before you get to Eildon, off the Goulburn Valley Hwy, on the RHS. Take this turnoff & go down this road for about 20kms & 15 Mile Road is on the RHS too. It's not that far from the Big River area.
The closest accommodation would be at Eildon, various caravan parks, motel at the Golden Trout Hotel as well as a motel across the road from the pub.
Hope this makes sense, if not, just phone Pete & he'll explain...
