WEATHER IS GOING TO BE SPOT ON 20 Deg AND SUNNY !!!

9.30AM START ON THE DOT !!  WE WILL MEET AT 15 MILE ROAD ON EILDON JAMIESON ROAD WHICH IS 20KLM'S APROX DOWN EILDON JAMIESON RD,COME IN FROM
 EILDON END. THERE IS A SIGN BELOW AT THE INTERSECTION, TURN RIGHT AND DRIVE UNTIL YOU SEE AN AMTRA SIGN. THIS WILL ADD ANOTHER 20-25 MIN DRIVE DOWN EILDON JAMIESON ROAD, AND I WILL PUT AN AMTRA SIGN AT THE PARKING AREA.(PARKING AREA ON RHS)

The loops about this Big " 150Klm" !!!!
You won't need to carry any extra Fuel, Just carry some $$$ for a Pub Lunch at Kevington and refuel at Jamieson around 50klms. Make sure you fill up cos Sh!t Happens in the Bush !!

I used to look up to Denis and dream that one day i'd be half the rider that he is, because you must have some ability to earn the nick name David Knight!! And to play as hard as you ride and then back it up the next day on the bike, that was something i could only hope to do.  ???  And i felt like a sissy drinking light beer in the GREAT mans presence while he drank liters of full strength beer.  :-[
Now that he's chosen a HARD CORE ride over a Desert Adventure that dream has been shattered!  >:( >:(
I only hope i can make it through the 3 days without my idol to lend me hand and to teach me how to ride the Desert. ??? ???

the truth is i can't be away for 3 days on the desert ride have to spend a few days doing charity work which includes rebuilding the local orphanage  can i have the clubman of the year trophy now thanks   regards saint david knight

If your are attending this ride with the famous David Knight, please don't forget your UHF Radio, so we can talk to each other about how good he is. ;D ;D

That's not charity work, that's community service.  It was either that, or jail!

Pete there will be a approx 4 to 6  of us traveling from Wangaratta, trying to work out the best way for us to get to this ride. We are at this stage thinking of comming in from the Jamieson end, how far along the jamieson/Eldion road if we come in form jamieson do you think the parking area will be? And are there many river crossings on this loop? Cheers Bizzy

I would go the Jamieson way, it's a 1/2 hr drive Approx from the Eildon End to the Meeting Spot, and about the same from Jamieson.

I will put a sign for you on the LHS just before the Meeting spot. ( 15 Mile Rd)

Just want to know if this ride will be fairly hard core as David Knght is riding so I expect not many stops and around
250K for the day would this be correct.

Hi John, NO he might be able to do 250ks in a Day.

Is Camping allowed at the car park,I feel like swaging it the night before

I can't see why it would be a problem camping in that spot, or if you go down 15 Mile road about 400 mtrs just over the creek, turn left and you could camp in that area.
