ATTENTION:

PLEASE BE ADVISED DUE TO CURRENT FORECAST OF TEMPERATURES AROUND 40 DEGREES CELSIUS, AND VERY STRONG WINDS, I HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO CANCEL THE RIDE THIS COMING SATURDAY 8TH FEBRUARY 2014.
I DO APOLOGIES, BUT SAFETY IN THIS CASE AND ALWAYS IS THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.

I WILL BE RESCHEDULING THE RIDE IN THE COMING WEEKS.

CHEERS,

CHRIS DE PROPERTIS

Hello all,    Cheesy

I will be putting on the regular ride, with a few extra's, on Saturday 8th February, starting at Big River to Woods Point return.

This ride will be a clubman+, covering around 140 kms, expected to be physical day, due to very wet and slippery conditions as well as the distance covered.

For the small fee of a gold coin donation, I will have a support vehicle (Dad) meeting up with us at Woods Point picnic area, ready to cook us a tasty BBQ lunch.

Please bring with you a jerry can with enough fuel to refill your weapon of choice. Your jerry can will be loaded into the support vehicle at the commencement of the day.

Best if we all meet at the Marysville Bakery at 7:30am sharp. From here, we can then all head up the hill towards Big River campsite, where we will be starting the ride.

Hope to be on the bikes no later than 8:30am, expected finish time around 5-5:30pm.

Must have a well maintained bike, tools and spares for your bike, as well as tools for dewatering.

Ride will be capped to no more than 15 riders.

As always, the day is about looking after yourself and each other!!   Wink

Any questions you can message me here, or ring me on 0407 821 853.

Cheers,

Chris De Propertis      Cheesy

Gday Chris , I was  wondering about the difficulty level of this ride , Ive only been of one level 2 ride with Wilbur last week so I cant gauge weather I good enough to come on this ride, what sort of obstacles might you encounter on this ride, cheers.  Mick

Hi Mick,

Considering the time of the year, it should not be too wet and slippery, making it almost perfect conditions for all level of riders.
Please do not be concerned about holding the group up, they day is all about just getting out there and having a great day.
I usually gauge the level of the group in the first half an hour and choose tracks accordingly.  Cheesy

Cheers,

Hi Chris. Can I bring a mate (Shane) of mine along? He's thinking of joining Amtra.

Hi Mark,

Shane is more than welcome, it is probably a good way for him to see what the club is all about.......
