Title: Kids Riding and camping at Alex Peacocks in Carop 15/3/11
Post by: Willbar on February 16, 2011, 01,52:04 AM
Alex Peacock has some of his mates camping on the Sunday at his farm like we did for the Christmas Breakup family camping weekend.  150klm north of Melbourne at Carop .
There is a natural terrain MX track for the kids and the gamer oldies, a flat track and old quarry and an obstacle coarse for the members who want to hone there log and rock jumping skills. There is a lake suitable for water skiing about 5klms away for any boaty's, there is a winery over the road for anyone who likes communion.
It will be a 2 day event Sunday and Monday but if anyone only wants to come for one day that is fine two. This is not an official AMTRA thing as there would have to be to many restrictions put on it so please contact Alex direct on 0418505704 to organise for yourself. I can not go as I have already committed to a weekend away with some of my friends but Alex is a great guy who will welcome you with open arms as long as you do the right thing. Its hard to find somewhere close to home to take our kids riding on private property and camp at the same time and enjoy the company of great people so give Alex a call and get along. Will

That's just an unfortunate glitch in the web-site!

As Will says, the event is Sunday and Monday.

Any reason why we can't fix this glitch?

It has been looked at by a number of people over a number of years.

We have modified the web-site so many times, that the designer thinks it will sh!t itself if we try.

I know it's a poor response, but it's all I have to offer.  This is what the boffins tell me, so it's what I pass on.

yes, there is a glitch in the version of the software we are using. There has been a number of upgrades to the software which may or may not fix the calendar.  The version of the software we are using has been modified to suit AMTRA and the word from the person who set the web site up is if we just run an upgrade all those mods may not work which will mean a lot of work for someone to fix. At present the committee has elected to put up with the small glitch with the calendar because the rest of the web site is working very well.
