Ted asked me to post this ride on his behalf and he plans on coming and camping out with us and taking part of the weekend of socialising at Cheynes Bridge.

Read this carefully though as there are some requirements to attending this ride.

$10 must be paid to me before the Febuary 10th  so we can purchase food for Saturday nights dinner.

The weekend will be starting Friday night with camping and pre ride drinks at Cheynes Bridge then the level 2 ride will start at 8.30am Saturday morning then there will be a feast on Saturday night and after ride drinks and more camping on Saturday night.
Level 2 ride Cheynes bridge to Huggets Crossing and Back.

Ok this one will be a full day ride with lunch on the trail and need to carry enough fuel for 130klm .
Numbers are set at 20 as this is going to be as full on as a level 2 ride can get with around 16 to 18 river crossings.

This will still be a very social ride, with a few stops, and lots of socialising before and after the ride and we may even do a small ride Sunday morning if there is enough riders upto it.

You need to book your spot early, or miss out, no late cummers due to having to pre order the food for dinner.

Ok for the ride, Level 2 with a few clubman sections, as with all Teds rides we help each other so we will not leave you behind, we may laugh at you from time to time as others do to Ted, but it will be all good fun.

This is not a beginners ride but if you have done a few level 2 AMTRA rides with out to much problems you will love this one. This will be typical high country ride with big ups and downs and erosion mounds and lots of river crossings.

We meet at the Cheynes Bridge Trail Bike unloading either Friday the 23rd of March anytime after 3pm, some may come earlier by choice and thats ok as well or Saturday morning at 7.45am for 8.30am on the bikes.
Rec Reg welcome. Full tank of fuel and some extra to top up on the trails. Plenty of fluid for hydraition. Nothing too easy on this one. With steep ups and downs, all open trails and no goat tracks.

We should be all packed up, and sitting down for dinner at our campsite by 6pm ,for some serious bench racing and lots of laughs so you will need to bring your personality with u as usual and be prepared for some serous stirring .

Now there is no room for last minute pull outs , u have plenty of time to make plans for the weekend  so no sniffling noses or my wife needs me to help with the housework excuses get the browny points in the bank now and start by buying her something special for chrissy. Some one will have to have died or be about to die to pull out of this without public humiliation .

As far as your bike is concerned we expect you to have extra heavy duty tubes fitted to help avoid punctures , I also expect you to carry enough tools and equipment to dewater your bike and fix a flat tyre. You better make sure your bike is well maintained, we may not leave you out there but we may just leave your bike out there so check your chain and sprockets and spokes and clutch and what ever else you should think should be checked.

If anyone has any special dietary needs HTFU and organise yourself, dinner will be a good old fashion barby etc. Remember to bring your own drinks and brecky and lunch and dinner for Friday night and normal camping gear.

Send me a PM if you want to pay direct to my bank account and I will send you the details. Will 0477690699

I'm aiming to get up there just after lunch-time, as I need to finish doing some running-in of a fresh top-end (and possibly some jetting changes).

If I'm finished by the time you guys are ready to roll then I'll join in.
