Title: Level 1 Fumina Ride Post by: AL on September 20, 2009, 12,05:47 AM My Fumina ride is usually a Clubman affair, but thought I would tone it down abit and run it as a level 1 to 2 ride. Ride will be tailored to the riders who attend on the day and will between 90 to 110ks for the day. Bring fuel for 120!! You will need a spare spark plug and tools to change it, in case we do some river crossings (??this is still my ride). Lunch will be on the trail and bring a well maintained bike. Fumina is 40mins from Yarra Junction and 15mins from Noojee. Let me know if your coming i will pm you the details. Cheers Al

Rather than leave you all with out a ride on the weekend I will take on the ride leader role unless some one else wants to do it. If not I will see you all there for a great days riding and will try not to get you all hopelessly lost. Bring a relielable bike with extra fuel if it will not make 100km on a tank. Both are very capable riders and have a better working knowedge of the Fumina area than myself, so thanks guys. :)

As Al said it will be a level 1/2 affair but will also depends on who turns up on the day, just a warning it could be a bit stop start with some map checking thrown in as well, but i'm sure we will have a good day.
Just make sure you bring a sense of adventure as we could be getting lost!!... Just kidding i'm picking up the maps from Al tomorrow afternoon, but to be on the safe side i'd carry an extra litre of fuel if i were you!! Any questions please call me on 0425725969.
