Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - throttle in the other - body thoroughly used up,totally worn out and screeming what a ride

To all intrested? On the day i was thinking of using the short steepish hill at John's place to run through some hill techniques. I had in mind along the lines of;
- Sitting and standing position for both up and down.
- The benifits or pitfalls of either position.
- What to do when you come accross a hill on the trail which seems too hard or steep.
- Stuff like dead engine decents, instead of bull dogging (walking)a bike down.
- Gear selection
- Clutch control
- And anything else i or anyone can think of?

This idea has come about from what ive seen on a few easy rides and what people let wreck an otherwise good day. By obsticles that seem to big, that with some advice could have been tackled. Im no instructor, just thought maybe i could pass on some advice to anyone who wanted it? And if you dont want to listen, thats fine too. Im married, so im use to it!
Cheers Al
