Title: HCR Pre-Ride Post by: Mat R on March 17, 2009, 01,50:46 AM MEMBERS ONLYPre-Ride of the HCR course for sweep riders and volunteers. Preference will be given to those riding sweep duties.
Limit of 30 riders per day, so please let me know if you are intending to come on the pre-ride. No on-course support is being provided. The ride will use the route sheet to be provided to HCR entrants. You will need a working odometer to use the route sheets. In addition, the ride will use the cornerman system. Level 2+, Clubman if wet. Full reg for Saturday ride. Rec Reg o.k. for Sunday ride. Camping on the block. Self Catered. BBQ meal on Saturday night is TBD. Ride Leader: TBD, probably me. Saturday ride heads off at 9:00 a.m. Sunday ride heads off at 10:00 a.m. after we hunt for any eggs left behind by weird rabbits. Fuel for 140 km on Sat. Fuel drop to be arranged if required at 110 km. Fuel for 90 km on Sun. Opportunity to re-fuel and ride second Sunday loop (25 km) after that. BBQ Dim Sims and other assorted items on Saturday night.
