Should be able to come along to this JT. Can lend a hand on BBQ or ride leading. Even get some practice in myself.

If you would like to handle the BBQ thing that would be great, then you know what your getting. The only one I have is a small round unit
and the last time it was a bit small for the job.
Junior would be fine.

looking for a ride and a free feed ?

I just have to verify that I'm 'free' ... and then I'll be one of the riders mentioned with spower 2 posts ago !!!

Sounds like fun ... Coming from Bendigo, I've only been as far as Castlemaine in that direction.

My family & I came to Australia in 1955 as Immigrants from Holland, from the ship to Spencer street station, then on a small train to Daylesford, we lived there for 2/3 weeks, then moved to Ararat where my father had found work.

Might be good to have a look around Dalesford again, so I'm a maybe, happy to help out.

If you want to find out borrow Ken's chaps and lie face down in the main street.
I think Ken woke up with a couple of fifty between his cheeks.

As a complete newbie I keep on being told to give it more throttle so obviously something I need to work on. :)

Also, starting from a stop on a down hill slope, tend to get caught in a brake, clutch, throttle death grip.  :-[

Thanks

Your bike.
A helmet you may think this is a joke but it has happened before.
boots and any protective gear you have got.
and have a think what part of riding you would like to improve this relates to all of the beginner /L1 attending as it will help if we know where you have issues ( on the bike that is we may need longer to cover the other issues that some rides have ) :D

A mate of mine has put me onto this site. i would like to attend this event if there's any room.
I would probably class myself as a beginner and would probably need tips in all areas, have only been out on my bike twice but i am keen :D

Your are very welcome to attend,
Do you have all your protective gear?
What bike do you have ?
I am guessing you are interested in bike setup tips.
Lunch will be provided (by way of BBQ), but bring a Camel Bak/Hydration Pack for riding, and any other drinks you may want during the day. Alcohol for after riding only!

Just as a point of interest.
If the riders coming on this ride could please in a few words list what they wanting to practice.
Just so I can get an idea of  a layout to suit the majority of riders.

A_A Hope you don't mind me saying - but - riding a XR600 without proper riding boots is an accident waiting to happen. Please buy some boots before the weekend.

I'm sure all attendees will be well looked after and will learn a lot.

Any chance of a grass track loop with flat corners? I love thrashing other peoples bikes around, so bring your spare bikes along.

As a super riding novice I need help in all areas, especially staying upright, once I have mastered that I might need some help on "popping up the front wheel" what ever that means   ;D

Thanks for the great day .... I reckon we cut in some of those blue trails half a dozen times  ;D

Shouldn't be hard to find them know.... The guys reckon I'm colour blind as around the creek, I kept losing site of the blue paint markers!!!

Hope the young fella on the XR 600 is ok after the spectacular hill climb .... Our group of three only brought home a sore ankle.

I was impressed by a lot of the beginners who were keen to have a go at everything.

Enjoyed the day, enjoyed helping out and it wasn't a long drive back to Bendigo.
