Title: Daylesford beginner /level1 ride 1/10/2011
Post by: john t on September 02, 2011, 02,23:26 AM
It's on again, So all you  beginner and level 1's who are interested put your name's down

BBQ lunch
AMTRA members Kids are welcome with TAC 85 or rec reg ( I know this a a pain but it keeps with in the club guide lines )
Held on private property

Same as last time we are going to have a beginner's group
Lead by Peter R for the rider who have no or very little experience.

I am thinking maybe someone to cover bike setup issues?

We require leader's for beginner, level 1, level 1+
and a BBQ cook.
If anyone can fill these positions please let me know.

If you have a any issue's about your riding please let me know as you may not be alone, so we can address it on the day. I would like to get it sorted before hand as it can get a bit busy on the day and things can get missed.
So let me know.
If every L1 could list 1 point they would like to improve
might give us something to work on,

Map link for directions http://www.whereis.com/vic/mount-franklin/375-saw-pit-gully-rd?id=54195E68EC8ABA

Hi John
Please can you put me and Paul down for the ride? really enjoyed it last time. Paul says he is happy to help out for anything that is required, alternatively, he's equally happy to go for a ride with us beginners! Thanks, Annie

For any one that needs tac 85 cover
Hear is what I know it is a Application for non-registed vehicle transport accident cover ,you need to have #1 Year of manafacture,#2 class of vehicle is recreation motorcycle,#3 make and model, #4 is engine/vin/chassis number? take all that you can find,#5 Choose your length of cover 1 to 12 months cover,if you choose 12 months select annual renewal so you dont have to go thru this crap again.
This cost myself last November $60.50 for 12 months cover for a 49cc bike it was a lot cheaper for less time, however it does go up in price quiet step for larger cc bikes.

Hi John
thanks, I am trying to stand up more, so that is a key thing for me to focus on. As much trail time as I can get, body positioning etc.
Plus learning to roost my husband  ;D
Really looking forward to it.
Cheers

Hi John,

Can you please add me to the ride list, last time was a massive help for me.  Areas to improve on? Um, everything! My boyfriend is interesting in coming along to the day, but he will be on the helping side, not a beginner.

Thanks Ami

I should be there, even if just to cook snags.

Hi John
I'm sorry but I am going to pull out of tomorrow's ride (and hence so is Paul). I am still recovering from a broken thumb and bad leg (fell of Paul's stupid trials bike) and given the weather forecast I am not feeling confident about riding tomorrow and coming home without worsening current injuries!  Really gutted as enjoyed last time. We'll be there for the next one!
Have a good one, Annie
