Rob,

I love riding this area!  Can you please put Damian and me down as starters.

One question though, are you sure that fuel is available?  I haven't heard anything since the General Store closed.

Cheers!

PS - c'mon Marls, it's a great ride!
 :)

From memory when I first went to Woods point years ago as a beginner the hills in were steep ups and downs near the township believe my skills have improved to tackle them better this time. And David if your on the 450 Yamaha you should be OK!

Hi Serge,
I know I'll be missing an awesome ride  :'( and would love to tag along (do look forward to one day being able to park outside that famous pub), but after speaking to some chaps at at Marysville on Sunday, they advised me against it. We'll just have to have that chardy after another ride  ;). Maybe the next Pete's level 1 ride in Eildon???
Cheers,
Marls

Can you please put me down for this ride.

Sounds like fun. Haven't ridden to Woods Point for a couple of years.

Marls,
I also drank a fair bit of the water from the river and am fine. Looking at what was left in my camelbak I actually drank about 2.5 litres of it.

Cheers
Ash

Folks,
Thanks for the wishes; boots are boots just get a good pair you like. I won't be changing from SIDI they are comfortable and relatively waterproof. The fall was not a big off, the ground was hard pack with a dusty grit on it and the front washed out the instant I touched the front brake, I was just unlucky when my left ankle was trapped sliding under the swing arm, all OK so far. Then the bars dug in and the bike halted I felt the rear lift up under momentum only to come down hard and break the Fibula bone in two places & into three pieces. Plaster is on 8 weeks they say. Shi!!!!

Marls sorry to hear Fred is not well, hope he gets better soon, please pass on my regards.
