Hey Sean, have you ever had a good look at the 2 Cars?? There's not much difference between the two cars, mainly panels. For Craig to catch Tander in the last 5 laps, is one hell of a driver.

Lowndes car was clearly better at the end of the race. Another lap and he would have won. It is pretty boring racing these days except for the crashes. Not like the "old days" where they had lots of makes and cars very close to what you buy from the dealer.

After 161 laps Lowndes could not hit the front....... They way that GT was defending, regardless of how many more laps Lowndes wanted, I don't think he would have got past unless the HRT ran out of go-go juice... great race to watch though !!! Even better knowing that Ford was never in the running in a 2 horse race

Even better knowing that Ford was never in the running in a 2 horse race I think five more laps , possibly could have ended in greif for one or both, as much as I wanted lowndes to win 2nd was good all things considering, wonder were he would have finished if they had his pitstop strategys worked out better, and were would Whincup have finished if he did not have battery issues, all in all it was a good race and yes it would have been good if Craig had caught Garth a few laps sooner, as far as a ford winning I would not have minded if Will Davidson had of one, I prefer drivers now more than one make over the other and have had good and bad fords and holdens parked in my shed before.

An exciting finish - the atmosphere at the top of the mountain was fantastic with everyone jumping up and down, cheering and yelling! Now just the long drive home...

I didn't even know to look for him - not that there would have been much hope with the many thousands of people up there!
