I'm aiming to be there on the TT (provided I don't break something on the Desert ride the weekend prior!)

I assume you mean that you don't break something on you.  I'll take it for granted that the TT isn't tackling the desert!

Just gave the IT a light hone and dropped in a new piston.

I would love to ride the latest addition, but as the rules say headlight and tail light are required, working or not ( I think it's a stupid rule ) what's the difference between a bike with lights that don't work, and a motocrosser/ desert racer??
Complying with the rules I will be riding my 82 WR250

Go and buy a Headlight and Tail light, then Gaffa Tape them on " Job done "

This is my 4th Vinduro and love them. The sound and smell of pre 85 2 strokes, the bark (and F*rt) of old 4 strokes and the cries of despair from some riders (Cold starts are brilliant). Full credit to the people who organise these events. My IT250 is my weapon of choice, however I have bought another Yamaha to keep it company

I had a XT600 until 1999, then some A**hole stole it.
This is a 1985 TT600. Rebuilt motor and ready to go.
You can never have to many

Good stuff, Tony.

I've been wondering about putting a 4T in my stables too.

See ya at Cstella.
