Due to the Bushfires Mt Dissa has been closed to the public for quite some time, but now it's 75% open so i'm going in.
This will be a Pre Ride,and it will NOT be graded as i have no idea about where we are going, so if your interested in coming along give me a call, just DON'T turn up, or you might be sent Home.
STRICTLY FULL REG ONLY
Peter 0409381745. Starting Time: 9.30am Don't be late

Directions:
Drive up the Hume Hwy to Clonbinane Exit.
Once at T intersection at end of off ramp, turn Right and go over the Hume Hwy Bridge, as you come over the Bridge the road  Via's right, just after the Bridge do a Left onto Spur Rd, this will do a hook turn to the right about 100 mtrs after you turn.
Follow Spur Rd up n up the Spur till you reach the Forest.
Keep on going and this road will turn into Main Mountain Rd.
Keep on going till you see the New Trail Bike Starting Area  on the Left "You can't miss it".

Gday Peter. I rode in disa around late may/early june with a mate who was in his 4wd and knows part of disa really well. We were around Andersons Gardens near Clonbinane and from what i remember there is heaps of growth over a lot of the non gravel tracks at that part of disa.
Just thought id pass that on to ya.

I was there a couple of months ago and it's not much chop on the South side of the Mountain.
A lot of it was closed at that time and what was open had a lot of rubbish [trees and branches] over the tracks.
Looks like the DSE has done a lot of permanent closures up there while no one has been around to notice.
