Ride at Tallarook State Forest up near Broadford. 9.30am StartLevel 2, you need to take EXTRA Fuel, Lunch will be at the Cars. BBQ LUNCH PROVIDED(WITH ONIONS TIM )and Drinks all for $5.00 EA. "Bring the right money no change given"Please contact me a few days before the ride so i can get some numbers for the BBQ . REC REGO OK.Tallarook State Forest is Quite small but offers all types of riding terrain, the forest is only 10klms W-E and 12 klms N-S with about 100 klms of tracks including Narrow and open stuff. There's even some areas that are Sandy and other spots that are as Boggy as Sh!t. And stopping at Warragul Rocks, they offer a spectacular view of the Goulburn River seemingly directly below. Also the bolder Track, which is a very technical climb up to the Fire Tower on top " Caution must be used when riding this track as one wrong move and your history" but if you don't have the Kahona's for this one, there's an easy 4wd access track up to the tower as well. There is a Sign for Ennis Rd and there is no over pass , so be careful crossing over the South Bound Lanes, if you come to the Tallarook exit, then you need to head back a bit. Covered 90kms there yesterday, great day and the tracks were in good condition.
Just a heads up that there are a number of tracks closed until November 1 (quite a few actually), but there are still plenty others to enjoy.
Got a wedding on that day unfortunately.
