Ash this is not a beginners ride (steep singles, rivers and drops)if you can ride OK not an expert (as most of us arn't) then come along to a L2 style ride!

Yeh, would like to tag along for this ride. Will bring Marls Sherco. What's the average of fuel that everyone carries in their backpack? Should get around 100k's a tank.

Brad,
No problems with experience. I have been riding for about 8 years. I am getting fatter and slower as the years tick by though. I checked the Amtra ride levels and all seems OK.
I may bring one of my regular riding mates along if this is OK. Is it best to call you for directions or are you able to email them.

Fred good to have you back you did some of this last time expect to do 120K's most people carry an extra 1 to 2L of fuel depends on how thirsty the bike is? Put it this way it pays not to ever run out.

Partly cloudy. Scattered showers. Isolated thunderstorms from midday. Winds northeast to northwesterly averaging 15 to 30 km/h tending south to southwesterly 20 to 35 km/h during the afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 15 and 20 with daytime temperatures reaching 24 to 30.

Guys,
Currently have about a dozen starters I am aware of. The Plan is to ride over and in the Fumina area from Neerim South. As this is the first time we are doing this it may be a bit stop start as I keep track on the map.
Directions to carpark are; head to Drouin on M1 then from M1 aka Princess Hwy exit left after the 110 zone starts onto Mt Baw Baw/Neerim South exit are head to Drouin i.e. Robin Hood Hotel and navigate your way onto the C426 the Main Neerim Rd, follow signs to Neerim South.
At Neerim South TR at roundabout (onto Neerim East Rd) and continue just past the Caravan Park TR onto Latrobe River Rd. Follow signs to trail bike unloading area (Called Latrobe TVA on DSE map)
If your coming from the Lillydale side of town through Yarra Junction TR before Noojee to Neerim South. At Neerim South TL at roundabout (onto Neerim East Rd) and continue just past the Caravan Park TR onto Latrobe River Rd. Follow signs to trail bike unloading area (Called Latrobe TVA on DSE map)
