G'day Brad

I just saw in the local paper that the final round of the Victorian & Australian ( car) rally championship is being held in the forests around Noojee & Powelltown Nov 12 & 13.

...........hate to meet one of them head on !!!!!!!!!

Thanks Steve pretty sure they are the other side of the road, the northern side and we are on the southern side.
I have sent them an email to confirm where the are racing.
Could not agree more about keeping clear of these guys.
One would hope the roads they use are isolated from any traffic and roped off.

Folks the maps for the Rally folks are on my home email and I will check them tonight. Initial discussions have them well away from this ride up north and towards Poweltown.
There is a small group of 4WD's (some driven by off duty Police) in the area camping near Fumina who I have spoken to and they will keep a lookout for us and visa versa.

So its all good to go for the ride and I will mention this information at the rider briefing on the day.

Please note that for this ride I will be using two corner persons per corner so we don't strech out to far and to keep the ride flowing.
Also a reminder with a larger group to be aware of others, patient and well mannered until you are clear and then the space is all your own.

From a management and safety perspective I would ask if we can hold the ride list here and start an emergency list for this ride. Also if anyone who is on the list is not going to attend it would be appreciated if you can advise this ASAP so others (emergencies)may attend.
