Ok Guys this one is being put on for geoff who is recovering from a stroke to help him get back onto his bikes and relearn his riding skills. Everyone is welcome to come along to this weekend away and the high country. It is located just outside bonny doon so you can come along and enjoy the serenity . All level 1s are welcome as is anyone else. If you want to bring your kids along there is 450 acres of natrural forest which is all privatly owned so no need for licence or rego. There is accomodation either via a bunk house or motel rooms and there is a bistro which does brecky and dinner and a licenced bar. If we get enough interest I will get them to do a package which will include a barby lunch, please post up your interest and if you are coming before the 1/10/10 so I can make the bookings. I will be staying Saturday night as will Frankie but you can go up Friday and stay Friday night if you want also. Will 0414354317

I'll be there Friday night again, it was a ripper weekend last time, I rang Jeff & he is very keen & has written it down on his calendar so he will be there for sure with two of his mates, if you want a great weekend away on the bike & the turps at night then all you have to do is put your name down, I hope to see a few there this time.

it may pay to contact Amanda at starglen and see if this weekend can still go ahead...
A weekend for dirtriderz.com that was planned this weekend has been cancelled due to one dirtbike hating neighbour and his solicitor..
it may only be this coming weekend that is effected as from what i understand they (the neighbour & solicitor) have managed to paint it as an "organised event" requiring certain permits - the end result being a total ban on ANY bike riding on the property for this weekend.
for starglen's sake i hope its only the coming weekend that is effected as this weekend's cancellation alone has cost them a booking totalling approx 60 people....

I was talking to Geoff today about the dirtriderz weekend. He thinks that the 'ban' will be only for this weekend, but it is certainly worth checking it out, Will.

First of all we need to cancel the sort of ride we were planing on doing here. Now to clear up the gossip, Star glen are having problems with 2 of there distant nabours , they are currently applying for permits from the council to do what they have already been doing, but whilst they are going through the process they are encouraging licensed and registered riders who wish to use the property as a riding base for the Strathbogies only and no riding on the property. Amanda is currently taking bookings for January and Febuary for unlicensed ridiers to ride on the property. She is going to keep me informed so as soon as we can we will have a kids ride up there.
