Title: Smick Bike Cleaner
Post by: Andyh on June 16, 2010, 05,56:05 AM
I have a new bike cleaner that works much the same as the CT18 product, but in my opinion is better and cheaper. It is not avalable on the shelves yet as i have The sole import avalability through a detergent manufacturer I know at work.

This is a potentaly new product for the Austrailan market and the $$$$ is $25 for 5 ltr or $12 for 1 ltr.

I have already issued samples of this cleaner to dirtbikers and have got a great response, i will be retailing it to the retail stores also, Please check out my youtube add on the link below and let me know by email (andy.harding@hotmail.com) if you would like to purchase some.

This product used neat will not damage your aluminium frame or plastics like other detergents can, it is formulated especally for bikes off road and on.
I have used it on both on and off road bikes and think its awsome, hence why i have started to import it.

This product is really well known and used in the UK and is distributed over there by top line retailers.

If it's much the same as CT18 and its a similar price why should I buy your product?

If you offered it to the club for 1/2 price I might be interested...

Good luck :)

CT18 is a truck wash and is very alkaline based, over time used neat it will eat the frame and body work, my product wont.

Its very popular in the uk so just testing the market here, it is also cheaper that CT18 as as per your link supercheap want 24.95 for 2 ltr or 29.95 for 5 ltr.
Thanks for the best wishes anyway dude

Look again dude, it's $11.69 per liter.

But good luck, it's a tough market to crack.

I look forward to seeing some donated to the club for a door prize at the club meetings!

We already use one that is totally safe on everything at work which I was my bike with for around $70 we get 20 litres so if anyone wants some then if we had enough people I could sell it in the oil sales put in your own container for $6 per litre and the club would make a small profit but I think most people are already organized .Will

Hi, i find the only way to get my bike clean after a ride is to use a pressure washer. But i dont really like having to use it on my bike with the worry of hurting electrics, paint work etc.

Do you still use this product through a pressure washer? How does the product do the work for you; do you apply it by hand, come back and it's magically clean? Just wondering how the product is used?

Hi I use a 500Ml squirt bottle(Bunnings) with the mix (pick your own, I use TW30) and put it on after the ride when things have cooled down.
Then I get the pressure wash use water to dissolve it and the muck at the same time getting the bulk or all off.
Sometimes it takes a second go especially in winter and for clay.
