Wade Title: Re: Bike battery Post by: Willbar on June 18, 2010, 08,12:40 AM It fitted straight in place of the old one Wade, I came home armed with a piece of Alloy prepared to lower the battery tray as everything I read about the next battery up was it was about 20mm higher but this one is only about 3mm higher so it fitted straight in. Retail on the box was marked at $136 but Brighton Bike and Bitz always seem to give me discount and it cost me $120 which I was happy with. Will
Title: Re: Bike battery Post by: Willbar on June 19, 2010, 06,29:34 AM Just come home from a HTFU Pre ride and this new battery is just awesome, since fitting the HID headlight to the Kato the battery would dye on narly hills if it need more that four starts to get up, I got stuck on a couple today with more than 4 starts on both and no signs of dying. Once I get my new 3 times the windings stator I should be able to run grip heaters and headlight all day. Update on the HTFU route, it is going to be F--king awesome. Do any of the HTFU attendees want to take me up on the T Shirt offer ?Will.
