What starts at the 3:40 mark blew my young impressionable mind, I had never seen anything like that done before and thought it was amazing. Post by: Ken R on December 22, 2013, 04,30:45 AM Well thanks for the intro Tim, yes indeed an amazing bit of pushie monoing, the lack of dampening on the red one caught my attention again as well.
I'm pretty sure that AMTRA organised a film night to see the film but that got lost in the 4 or 5 times the Monarchs road (racing) touring club went to see it including one night at the drive in on the bikes, great fun. The film was also shown at a fund raising night in the hall we hired for meetings, even after being out for a while the car park was full of bikes followed by the usual post meeting ride to Arthurs Seat for a leisurely ride up and down, up and down, etc etc. A great movie that created a lot of good vibes for motor cycling that was still being seen in a bad light by a lot of people and some parts of the media. |
